Surrey BC Mortgages

Surrey – mortgage Canada funds available for a BC mortgage

We would love to be your Surrey mortgage broker – your BC mortgage consultant – your mortgage broke Canada advisor - for this amazing City. Surrey, one of the fastest growing major cities in Canada, is strategically located at the crossroads of the Pacific Rim, Greater Vancouver and the United States. Easy and convenient access to Vancouver international Airport, two international border crossings into the U.S., an excellent transportation network including six major highways, rail and a deep sea port provide ideal opportunity for transportation of goods and services worldwide - a network essential to the demands of a vibrant City and its growing business sector. This growing business sector makes Surrey an attractive place to obtain BC commercial mortgage financing because BC mortgage rates – in fact all mortgage Canada loan rates – are very attractive.

Incorporated in 1879, Surrey has a rich history of diverse ethnic backgrounds that have come together to make Surrey one of British Columbia's most unique communities. When Englishman H.J. Brewer looked across the Fraser River from New Westminster and saw a land as lovely as his native County of Surrey in England, the modern city of Surrey was born. Comprised of forests of fir, cedar and hemlock, and basically untouched, the tone of Surrey's future as the City of Parks was set. Logging began, settlement took place, and Surrey started to take shape. When European explorers, road-builders, loggers and settlers first came to this area, the Semiahmoo and Kwantlen People had already been present for more that 6,000 years. A rich culture and technology existed which used the resources of land (hunting) and sea (fishing) to support a significant population. The tidal resources of shellfish, river supplies of salmon, herring, and oolichans, and shorelines and forests of birds, deer, elk, bear provided ample resources to support life in the delta of the Fraser River. The First Nations Peoples had established overland trails and trade routes which became the basis for the establishment of roadways and railbeds. Commercial fisheries grew up along the shorelines and the area was gradually settled, cleared, cultivated and urbanised.

Today, Surrey is the fastest growing community in British Columbia and is the second largest in area, encompassing 317 square kilometres, including about 20,000 acres of farmland. Surrey's current population is approximately 365,000. Surrey is still a concentration of transportation routes and networks with 5 major railways and six major highways. The small settlement communities making up Surrey have emerged into six vibrant Town Centres - Cloverdale, Fleetwood, Guildford, City Centre, Newton and South Surrey. From forest reserves to agricultural land, from urban to industrial areas, and from beachfronts to mountain vistas, Surrey has a very attractive housing market. All of this activity means that Surrey has homes to purchase. Home purchase is affordable due to the mortgage rate in Canada being so low. You can obtain a BC mortgage loan to refinance your house to pay off bills (consolidation loan or bad debt loan) or use an affordable BC mortgage loan to buy a house in Surrey.
